The MT-2600A is a complete, self-contained sanding system. The water bath, filter and pump system is included as part of the machine package. All three sanding/brushing stations of the machine are independently adjustable and all three stations process parts within the water bath system.
Wet sanding of metal components prevents excess heating of the stock, which can cause distortion, staining/darkening of the material and difficulty handling the (hot) components. Wet sanding prevents dust generation offering the safest work environment and eliminates the need for secondary dust and debris collection. It also offers the longest abrasive belt life with the longest run times between belt changes.
