Regional Sales Manager
 
Job description
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving Laguna’s wholesale growth across an assigned geographic region through proactive dealer engagement, field activation, merchandising, product training, and disciplined commercial execution of classic woodworking and metalworking tools and equipment. This is a quota-carrying role accountable for achieving annual regional revenue targets, increasing year-over-year sell-through, expanding Laguna’s dealer footprint, and strengthening strategic dealer relationships. The RSM serves as the face of Laguna in the field and plays a critical role in executing Laguna’s commercial transformation of the wholesale division.
 
Essential Functions:
  • Build strong partnerships with dealer owners, managers, and sales staff.
  • Conduct 12–15 in-person dealer visits per week aligned with A/B/C segmentation.
  • Influence product mix, inventory turns, and SKU penetration to achieve revenue quota.
  • Execute quarterly promotional programs and ensure merchandising compliance.
  • Perform store-level merchandising resets and document improvements via CRM.
  • Deliver product training, demos, and technical education for Laguna and Dake lines.
  • Plan and execute retail events, demo days, tent sales, and trade shows.
    • Identify and activate new dealers in whitespace markets.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data including forecasts, pipelines, visit notes, and competitive insights.
  • Own quarterly and annual revenue forecasting for the assigned region.
  • Provide monthly performance summaries and market intelligence.
 
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • 5+ years’ experience in field sales, territory management, or dealer channel sales required.
  • Experience in woodworking, tools, machinery, or industrial equipment preferred.
  • Quota-carrying experience required.
    Strong presentation, training, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Achievement of annual regional revenue quota.
  • Year-over-year sell-through growth.
    Increased revenue contribution from A-tier dealers (Woodcraft, Rockler).
  • Dealer coverage compliance by segmentation (A/B/C).
  • Merchandising compliance score.
  • Training hours delivered per month.
  • Event/demo execution count and effectiveness.
  • Forecast accuracy and CRM utilization.

CNC Field Technician – will train and must be able to travel
Laguna Tools is a leading manufacturer of award-winning woodworking and CNC Machines. Our business in on a fast track growth trajectory and we need highly motivated, hardworking field engineers to set up CNC Machines throughout North America. The Field Support Technician is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and services, as well as communicating effectively with team members within the company. Your typical day will consist of installation of machines and troubleshooting problems onsite in our customer’s facilities. 75% Travel will be required.
 
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Respond to service calls and travel to client locations to provide on-site technical support.
  • Install, maintain, and repair CNC Routers, Plasmas, Lasers, and machines with knife cutting capabilities.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
  • Install, configure, and set up equipment, machinery, or systems according to specifications and client requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks, diagnose issues, and repair or replace faulty components to ensure optimal performance of equipment or systems.
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance procedures to verify functionality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, installations, and other relevant information. Complete service reports, documentation, and paperwork as required.
  • Interact with clients or customers in a professional and courteous manner. Provide clear explanations of technical issues, solutions, and recommendations. Provide training and support to clients or end-users on the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment or systems.
Qualifications:
  • High school Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree or Certification in an Electrical Mechanical field preferred
  • Prior CNC experience (Operation or maintenance).
  • Mechanical and Electrical aptitude a MUST.
  • Ability to read schematics.
  • Preferred prior knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) /computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software.
  • PC literate with strong Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and file compression skills.
  • Excellent understanding of basic electricity and electronics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of personalities to effectively respond to and resolve technical situations.

Job description
The CNC Technician provides customer service by phone, email, and occasionally in-person. Customer needs will range from technical support, sales, software support, and machine troubleshooting. This position is responsible for providing effective customer service for all CNC and edge bander customers by using excellent in-depth knowledge of company products and services as well as communicating effectively with team members within the Customer Service department.
