I had a lathe gifted to me 4 years ago still new in the box, but had no legs or tables to mount it on. So fast forward to now – way after warranty – I finally bought the legs for mounting so I can begin using it for my hobby, and upon opening the package, I saw that it was damaged and the cover “door” that provides access to the pulleys was completely snapped off. I added pictures for context.

So I reached out to customer service knowing it is outside of warranty time. And to my astonishment, the Laguna Tools rep told me he understood the situation and was able to provide me the replacement part free of charge even though it was technically out of warranty.

So above and beyond!! I would highly recommend Laguna to anyone!

Edit: I need to reach back out to Laguna because I cannot figure out how to install the new pulley door. The pin is press fit so tight that I cannot remove it to install the new one. Subtracting one start from my five star review until it is resolved.
