LAGUNA ANNOUNCES FLOATING SHOE SPINDLE FOR LOCKDOWEL H-CLIPS

Irvine, CA – Laguna Tools is proud to announce an exciting floating shoe spindle option for craftsmen utilizing the H-clip system from Lockdowel. The consistent ride of the new spindle allows fabricators to create cabinets, closets, and furniture with greater efficiency and lower labor costs.

The floating shoe option is available on Laguna’s SmartShop® 3 CNC router , providing a fast method for cutting Lockdowel bores accurately. Materials such as particle board, plywood,and MDF are ideal for this assembly option, but it’s also an asset for hardwood manufacturing. The floating shoe spindle costs $6,000.

The H-Clip system requires a precise depth of cut to perform at its greatest strength. However, many materials have thickness variances that affect the precise fit. The floating shoe spindle rides along the surface of the material with the boring tool protruding through the bottom. This design results in the exact depth needed for consistent cutting.

Craftsmen choose Lockdowel H-clips for strong assembly with hidden fasteners. The technology eliminates glue, clamping, and screws while providing exceptional pull strength.
