Laguna Tools Introduces the B:7X Horizontal Bandsaw

Production shops know that serious metal cutting means managing heat. The B:7X Horizontal Bandsaw from Laguna Tools is built around that reality, pairing a 2HP motor and 6.69-inch cutting capacity with a built-in recirculating cutting fluid system that keeps blades cool and cuts clean through full production runs. 

Running on standard 120V power with no special wiring required, the B:7X offers variable blade speed from 98 to 262 FPM and handles round bar up to 6.69 inches at 90 degrees. The integrated fluid pump delivers cutting fluid directly to the blade, extending blade life and improving cut quality across steel, iron, stainless steel, copper alloys, and aluminum. The machine ships with a 4-panel powder-coated steel floor stand with built-in recirculating coolant system. 

“Going from a bench-top saw to a floor-standing machine with an integrated fluid system sounds like a big jump, but the B:7X runs on standard 120V and ships with everything you need. • 2HP Motor with Variable Blade Speed (98–262 FPM): Doubles the power of the bench-top B:5, running on standard 120V with no special wiring required. The motor-mounted speed dial lets users optimize blade speed for each type of material. The B:7X accommodates blade widths up to 3/4” capacity. 
• 6.69″ Round Bar Capacity at 90°: Handles round bar up to 6.69 inches and rectangular stock up to 6.69 x 6.69 inches, with cutting angles adjustable from 0° to 60° via a locking handle. 
• Integrated Recirculating Cutting Fluid System: A built-in pump and fluid hose deliver cutting fluid directly to the blade during operation. A removable drip tray, drain plug, and drain plate make maintenance straightforward. 
• Heavy-Duty Swivel-Jaw Vise with Work Stop Assembly: The vise jaw auto-adjusts to any stationary jaw position for straight and angled cuts, while the included work stop rod enables repeatable length cuts. 
• Cast Aluminum Saw Frame with Adjustable Blade Guide: Maintains blade stability under heavier cutting loads, with an adjustable guide arm that positions close to the workpiece to minimize blade flex. 
• Floor-Standing Steel Stand Included: The four-panel powder-coated steel stand assembles with included hardware, bringing the machine to a full working height of 58.26 inches. A mobility kit is available separately.
