The KX:24 is the latest CNC machine from Laguna that is designed with luxury features at an affordable price point. The KX:24 is designed to machine a range of materials including wood, plastics, non-ferrous metals, foam, and more. Capabilities include 2D and 3D cutting, carving, and shaping. The 24” x 48” work area provides plenty of workspace for a wide range of products. The work table includes MDF inserts which can be resurfaced and replaced as needed along with embedded T-slots for material clamping anywhere across the work surface. Standard luxury features include an ultra-quiet CNC spindle with variable speed range up to 24,000 RPM. The KX:24 is controlled by an easy-to-use 15.1” touchscreen with graphical user interface. This large touchscreen displays all of the machine controls and status in a simple format. Automatic tool touch-off ensures that the bit is perfectly set for each job.
